Number 2146: Walt Kelly’s Christmas Critters

Happy Christmas to you to you and yours. I hope you have a wonderful holiday.

For our Christmas posting we have two of Walt Kelly’s beautifully illustrated stories for children, featuring woodland creatures. From Christmas with Mother Goose, Dell Four Color Comic #201 (1948).

Enjoy!

Do you mean to tell me that's the first time Santa's ever gotten stuck in a chimney??

Merry Christmas, Pappy! Sorry I've not been around much this year, but I'll do better in 2018. Thanks for the cute Christmas comics!

Ryan, thanks for the note. Here is something that you might not want to hear. I will be going on leave for a couple of months, and maybe longer if I need it. There are things I need to do.

I am posting a notice on my final posting of 2017, which will pop up on December 29. It will be my last posting for...who knows?

I hope you have a good Christmas. Best wishes, Pappy

rnigma, you're a person who has been with this blog for a long time. I have always appreciated you and those who have stuck with me and what I was trying to do, and sent cheerful words to keep me going. Thanks again, and enjoy your Christmas. P

Cavin, as usual, I ate too much by way of celebration, but enjoyed the large family get-together. Now I have to add to my sit-up totals for the next few days. Moan There is always a price for pleasure.

I hope you had a good Christmas. Thank you for writing.
